Blended Learning
What is blended learning?

This method of training has now become extremely popular since the country went into lockdown.

It means learners can undertake courses from the comfort of their own home allowing them to study the training manual, complete a real-time training session with Paula over a virtual platform and have access to Enlightens’ YouTube video link in order to practice and refresh their knowledge of the routine. 

How is this different from regular online courses?

Normally, online courses consist of a workbook and a generic video which learners  watch on their own.

With our blended learning, learners receive a manual by email and then arrange a 1-2-1 virtual interactive training session with Paula. In this session, Paula works through the practical treatment with the learners in bitesize and easy to memorise sections in order to facilitate learning. 

Once the learners has completed this virtual interactive training session, there are 2 options.

The first option is to repeat the routine again with Paula observing and advising as a practical assessment. If the learners does not feel confident after this, they can have time to practice and then repeat the virtual training session with Paula at a future date to suit the individual needs of the learners .

The second option is for the learners to individually take the time to practice and then record and send video evidence of the learnt routine to Paula for assessment. Paula will then feedback and discuss the video with the learners in order to achieve competence. The learners may be requested to repeat the video if competence is not displayed on the first video. 

Are the blended learning courses accredited and insurable?

Yes, of course they are! 

Blended learning courses at Enlighten are accredited by IPHM (International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine), are members of iPTi (Independent Professional Therapists International, and are also on the UKRLP (United Kingdom Register of Learning Providers).

FAQs

Will I receive a certificate?
Yes, following a competent assessment the learners will receive a diploma certificate in the post via 1st class Royal Mail.

Is support available following course completion?
On completion of the course, learners are invited to the EB&TT closed Facebook page where they can interact with Paula and other learners . 

As with all courses at Enlighten, there is on-going support available to assist with any questions related to the course and to signpost the learners to other courses if they wish.
