Gel Polish Overlay (dry manicure)
Course Outline
This course is a 0.5 day accredited diploma and is suitable for both the beginner or the established therapist looking to widen their repertoire. The course criteria covers the theory and practical elements of how to complete an application and removal of gel polish (with dry manicure) treatment. You will learn how to complete nail shaping with correct filing methods, dry cuticle work, before progressing onto learning the gel polish process. This will include nail preparation, gel polish application, curing, and completion by removing the tacky layer of the top coat. You will learn how to apply a dark polish, light polish and French manicure polish. You will also learn about the relevant health and safety and legislation for this qualification, the products and equipment required, the relevant anatomy and physiology and recognising the contraindications to the treatment.
