Course Outline

This course is a 1 day accredited diploma and is suitable for the established beauty therapist looking to widen their repertoire. Dermaplaning Facials are an extremely popular treatment with clients and as well as being very relaxing they are also beneficial in maintaining the health, condition and appearance of the skin throughout the seasons. The course criteria covers the theory and practical elements of how to analyse skin types, how to complete a dermaplaning facial, to include preparing the face by cleansing, using a medical grade scalpel to remove the vellus hair and dead skin cells. You will also learn about the relevant health and safety and legislation for this qualification, the products and equipment required, the relevant anatomy and physiology and recognising the contraindications to the treatment.

Booking payment of £90 is required to secure a training date followed by final payment of £220 due at least 2 weeks prior to the training day.  

Please note that an ABT accredited beauty facial qualification is a pre-requisite for this course. We offer this course also.
