Course Outline

This course is a 1 day accredited diploma and is suitable for the established therapist looking to widen their repertoire. The course criteria covers the theory and practical elements of how to complete treatments safely whilst working with clients with cancer or life limiting conditions. This course also covers the additional knowledge required when working with the clients and their health professionals in a healthcare, hospice or home setting. You will also learn how to work around medical interventions, types of cancer, liaising with specialists and consultants, You will also learn about the relevant health and safety and legislation for this qualification, the products and equipment required, the relevant anatomy and physiology and recognising the contraindications to the treatment.
