Massage Modalities

Course Outline

This course is a 1 day accredited diploma and is suitable for the established therapist looking to widen their repertoire. The course criteria covers the theory and practical elements of how to complete a full body massage, incorporating and learning different massage modalities. You will learn how to use warm bamboo, hot stones, paraffin wax, infrared lamp, hot towels, cold stones, ice cups, ice globes and the G5 machine for mechanical massage to allow you to work deeper with less stress on your wrists and shoulders. You will also learn about the relevant health and safety and legislation for this qualification, the products and equipment required, the relevant anatomy and physiology and recognising the contraindications to the treatment.

Booking payment of £100 is required to secure a training date followed by final payment of £200 due at least 2 weeks prior to the training day

Please note that Swedish/body massage is a prerequisite for this course. You can complete this alongside Anatomy & Physiology training before progressing onto Massage Modalities training.
