Special Effects (SFX) Make Up

Course Outline

This course is a 1 day accredited diploma and is suitable for the established Make up artist/therapist who is looking to widen their repertoire and learn new skills. The course criteria covers the theory and practical elements of how to complete different special effects make up (SFX) looks to include casualty, fantasy, ageing, and character.  The course also covers the use of prosthetics, making SFX products such as blood, scars, moulding products and prosthetics from store cupboard ingredients.  You will also learn about the relevant health and safety and legislation for this qualification, the products and equipment required, the relevant anatomy and physiology and recognising the contraindications to the treatment..

Booking payment of £100 is required to secure a training date followed by final payment of £210 due at least 2 weeks prior to the training day.

Please note that a recognised Make Up qualification is a pre-requisite for this course.
